Mind Fluctuations Study

As we study "Teachings of Zen" edited by Thomas Cleary, Shambhala Publications Inc., we reflect on teachings of Defilement seen as mind fluctuations.

As we are taught by the great sages and mystical teachers, we are a product of our mind, only if we choose. We see what we dream, so we dream with intention. We dream what we perceive. We perceive what we are dreaming. If our mind is constantly fluctuating, we have a chance to perceive impurities, when in actuality, we are all ways pure.

As we grasp these concepts into our understanding of reality and dimensions, we can be still. We can be at ease. We can be.

And as be-ings, we can honor our Buddha Nature, the way of things, being a knower/a dreamer. A knower is derived from a Dharma talk in Wat Pa Tam Wua in Northern Thailand, where a monk described a practitioner as being a knower of the way of things or of the Dharma. To understand Karma, nonduality, and devotion. No self, impermanence, suffering. These are examples of three fold patterns to acknowledge in Buddhism.

We invite you to read on Teachings of Zen and, please, share with us your reflections and observations!
